Senate Democrats today unveiled a legislative package which would provide children in Pennsylvania with greater protections from abuse. The goal of the legislation is to strengthen laws, develop new initiatives and refine policies to protect children. Some of these ideas were introduced years ago while others have been recently crafted.

These suggestions will be offered as recommendations to the forthcoming legislative commission created to improve protections for children.
