Hello Friends,
What a year we’ve had. There have certainly been many ups and many downs, and there are things that have happened that we have all had to work through. But before a new year begins, I like to reflect on the positive. Over the last year we have seen men and women act heroically and chase justice. We have seen victims become advocates.
My office recently invited interns for a reunion luncheon. The lunch gave my staff and me a chance to hear about the amazing things our former interns are doing. Seeing how eager they are to do good gives me hope for 2018, and for the future of our Commonwealth.
Bad things will happen. They always do, but we must remember that good things happen, too. We have kind, hard-working people in all areas of our society who strive to make the world a better place. It is my hope that as a state senator I can find these people and empower them to make real change.
So I say to you, put your phone down this holiday season. Focus on the things that really matter – your friends, family and neighbors.
Have a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year,
Judy
Being Social
It’s a privilege to be your state senator, so it is important to me to be in touch with you.
I really like face-to-face meetings but understand that in this busy world, sometimes that isn’t possible. Feel free to call my office to ask questions or make suggestions. Also, you may connect with me through my pages on Facebook and Twitter. Please follow me for regular updates and comments about what’s happening in the district and in Harrisburg. |
